Bio:
THE INTERNET GIRL'S STORY..... It all began
when I attended a local modeling class as
a teen. At age 16, I moved to Los Angeles
with my father and started doing some print
modeling with a local agency. Later
I moved back to my hometown in Indiana.
Being in Indiana, I was limited to the modeling
world.
This is where the real story begins...I
figured out how I could over come being
in such a small town with little opportunities!
I quickly learned how I could network and
market myself to the world by using the
internet.
One day I fired up my computer and put a
few pictures up on a website and away I
went! I started shooting with a few well-known
photographers and before I knew it I was
listed as "Model of the Day" in
the old AOL Modeling site which was presented
by Willeheima Models of New York. I started
to pick up momentum from there after being
exposed to hundreds of online industry people.
That was the day I knew that the Internet
could work if I was willing to work "it".
I spend a lot of time marketing myself,
scheduling, calling and meeting with potential
clients. Although, they see my pictures
they also need to see and hear me. So I
make tons of calls and I do "go-sees"
whenever possible. I really enjoy modeling.
It gives me such a great outlet to express
my many different looks, feelings and emotions
that the project requires. I feel I really
throw myself into my work. As an artist
paints a portrait, I am the canvas and the
paint, I just absolutely love it!
I now reside in Las Vegas NV and work full
time doing Print and Convention work. I
still travel out whenever necessary for
assignments. Never give up on your dreams,
hopes and inspirations. I'm living my dream...and
living proof that if you can believe it,
you will achieve it. : )
Love and happiness,
Lisa Marie!
